Why this comparison does not rank the two
Most pages that compare two treatments are built to move a reader toward one of them, and the layout says so before the text does: a column set apart from the other, a verdict at the end. That structure cannot be trusted by someone who is genuinely deciding, because it has already decided. This site compares a surgical lift and dermal filler as two tools with different jobs. Both columns carry the same weight. Neither is described as the default, as the first step, or as what most people should have.
How the balance is kept
Each option has a guide that is candid about what it cannot do, and the two guides are held to the same standard: the surgical guide names volume, skin quality, dynamic lines, permanent scars, weeks of recovery, revision risk and the absence of any promised duration; the filler guide names the fact that it cannot lift, the maintenance it requires, the emergency it can cause, and how little is known about decades of repeat treatment. The cost guide explains what drives a total without quoting a figure, because a figure on a website is not a quotation. And one guide is given to the cases in which neither treatment is the right answer.
How it is reviewed
Content is medically reviewed by Tongchun Mao, MD, head of aesthetic surgery at Chongqing West District Hospital, and the review date appears on every article. The non-surgical half of the comparison is reviewed with Dr. Ke He, who performs it. The site names no product and no brand, quotes no dosage and no price, guarantees no outcome, and states plainly that filler is temporary and that a lift leaves permanent scars.
What no website can do
It cannot tell you whether the change in your face is descent or volume loss, how much of each is present, or whether your skin would hold a lifted result. Those answers require an examination, and the two treatments in question are chosen from it rather than before it. Read this site to arrive at that appointment able to ask more precise questions, not to arrive at a conclusion without it.
